Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
- Effective Date:
- January 15, 2026
- Last Updated:

- Version:
- 1.1
How we handle rights, credit and takedown requests.
1. Our position on third-party rights
- We respect the intellectual property rights of creators and platforms.
- Original videos, posts, images and text remain the property of their rights holders.
- You may only submit links to content you are entitled to access and use.
- Using Honey Circle does not transfer ownership of any third-party content to you or to us.
- We do not claim any partnership, sponsorship or licence from any platform or creator.
2. What we store and what we do not
- We store the structured recipe data produced from your request, plus the submitted URL.
- We do not republish the original video or audio.
- We do not build a public archive of creator thumbnails, full captions, full transcripts or creator images.
- Where a source link is available, it is preserved so the original publication can be credited and visited.
- User extractions are private to the account that created them by default.
Recipes are only shown publicly where there is a documented basis for doing so. Records whose rights status is unknown, pending permission or restricted stay private and are not published.
3. Notice and takedown
If you believe content available through Honey Circle infringes your rights, send a notice to support@myhoneycircle.com.
Your notice must include
- identification of the work or right you own;
- identification of the specific content or URL you are challenging;
- your full name, organisation (if any) and contact details;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate;
- your signature (typed name is sufficient for an emailed notice).
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt, normally within 1 business day.
- We aim to assess and act on complete notices within 5 business days.
- Content may be removed, restricted or made private while we assess.
- Where a user is affected, we notify them and allow a response.
- We preserve relevant records and evidence of the notice and our action.
4. Responses and repeat infringers
- A user whose content was removed may reply with an explanation and evidence of their right to use it.
- If the response is well founded, access may be restored.
- Accounts that repeatedly infringe are suspended or terminated.
- This policy is a contractual notice-and-takedown process. It is not presented as a statutory DMCA agent procedure, and we do not claim a registered DMCA agent.
